Magazine advert
I really like my final completed poster for my album. I have made some changes to my second draft and i believe i have made it better than before. I have made the red text a bit brighter to add brightness to the poster as the red before was too dark and made the cover look dull. I have also added logos to the bottom left to make it look more professional and proper. I received positive feedback from my target audience session and i believe they will feel the same way about my final cover.
Photography development
The edited photo on the right is an altered version of the photo on the left, I used a variety of sources to edit this photo. I had to use a variety of different software's in order to edit my photos. I used Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks to crop and edit the photo in that way and i believe that i have edited it very well as it looks as good as i planned it out to be.
Audience feedback of my poster
"Does the poster feature all the main conventions of a real poster?"
Konrad - "It looks like a proper poster and looks really good!"
Theo - "It looks sick, it really looks good!"
Ben - "Put the main text higher on the poster to show more dominance and it will improve the recognition as it is more visible higher on the poster"
Emily - "It looks proper and professional. Could add a bit more text to make it look more formal"
"Is the layout effective and enticing?"
Konrad - "Text at the bottom fits it really well. The main font in the middle looks really cool!"
Theo - "The black background at the bottom really highlights the text, makes it look better"
Ben - "Red and black suit the genre well"
Emily - "Red and black are the best colors for that genre/style"
"Does the color scheme fit the genre of music?"
Konrad - "Red and black are the best colors that go together"
Theo - "Red goes with the genre well, darker red the better"
Ben - "Darker colors the better"
Emily - " those colors are the best for this style of music"
What do you think could be added to the next design?"
Konrad - "More text at the bottom to make it more formal"
Theo - " darken the photo so it goes more with the black at the bottom"
Ben - "Could include logos to fill up the empty space"
Emily - "Make the main title bigger and feature more text"

Second draft of album poster
This is my second draft of my advert for my album. I believe i have made progress from my first draft and i believe that it is much better and much more appealing. I have added more text and edited the layout a bit more. I will carry forward this momentum into my final and completed advert. I will use this layout for my final completed advert cover as it meats all the conventions.

First draft of my music video advert
This is my first draft for my song. I really like the design of this and i believe that i will replicate this design in my completed design. I know this draft is very simple, i still believe i will follow the rough conventions of this. I will include more writing and more detail to it in my next draft. This is just a design based draft and i believe that this is roughly the design that i will follow.

Chosen digipak front cover font
This is my chosen font for my digipak front cover. I believe that this is an appropriate font for my front cover as it has a lot of effects/meaning hidden within it. The subtle unorganized layout could highlight her already troubled mind which is also bought out in the music video i have done, and also in the rest of the digipak i plan to finish very soon. The way that the T is very formal and the rest of the text is scattered shows how confused her mind is and how many thoughts are flowing through her mind.
Stills taken from my video.
I really like these photos that i captured from my video. These are possible photos i will use for my advert as i believe they are significant parts of the video that will be recognized when not watching the video. Even though i will edit it when undergoing the final stages of the creation of the advert, i still believe that these photos are appropriate for the advert. I will under go another photography session in order to complete my digipak. However i will consider these photos when choosing my final photos and designs.

Photography for my digipak front cover + effects
This is my chosen photograph for the front cover of my digipak. I have chosen a variety of effects that i have experimented with and i believe that one of these effects will work on the front cover. I have experimented with a variety of effects and filters that add light/dim the light and add a variety os speckles. I will not over edit my photo as it will look too fake, however i will edit it enough to enhance the picture to make it more effective.
More possible photos for digipak
This single photo i am also looking to use in my digipak. I really like this as it suits the genre of music she sings. I have edited these photos and will show photo development in my next few posts. This stage of the project is very hard as you need to know how to edit photos and it is hard to know what looks good. I will conduct an audience feedback session and make any changes depending on my feedback. This photo is similar to other digipak front covers and i believe that it will work on mine.
